Ingredients |

Pound of meat. You can chose a special cut of beef, ground
beef, turkey, or pork. I prefer a good cut of beef. |
2-3 |
Cups of rutabaga |
1 |
Cup of grated or chopped carrots. |
3/4 |
Cup chopped onion. |
1 |
Teaspoon of table salt. |
1-2 |
Teaspoons of ground pepper. |
1 |
10 3/4 ounce can of Cream of Mushroom or Cream of Celery soup. |

Directions |

Combine all of the above ingredients into a large mixing bowl. |

Mix thoroughly using your clean hands. If you want, you can increase
amounts of vegetables to suit your taste of stretch your meat budget. |

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. |

Take 2" ball of dough to roll out for your crust. |
|
Roll in circles to desired thickness -- about 1/4" thick. |
|
Place 1/2 cup of filling in the center of the rolled out dough. |
|
Fold over and flute (pinch) crust to seal it together. |
|
Prick holes in the tops using a fork to allow the steam to escape. |
|
Bake in oven for 30 to 40 minutes |
